It's time for today's ♪ One, two, three sentence story ♪ Beginning, middle and let's write a story in three sentences.
In the first sentence, we set the scene.
In the second sentence there's a problem!
No-oh-oh-oh-oh!
But don't worry, in the third sentence there will be a solution.
We never know where these stories will take us!
Share with us a person, place, or thing, that's also known as a noun, something we can visualize.
That's another way to think of it.
Okay, where will the story begin?
Which word will inspire the start of today's story?

It could be any word, it could be silly, it could be logical, that's what's fun about creative writing, you never know where it could go.
A juggler!
Ah, okay, someone's gonna juggle.
Okay, here we go.
(guitar music continues) My friend Armadillo and I decided to go out this morning and take a walk.
(strumming guitar music continues) Halfway along our trip, a juggler nearby dropped one of the balls!
Oh, no!
The juggler was juggling and everything was going well until, kaput, oh, no, One of 'em fell, or was it about to fall?
Maybe it was about to fall.
We need to save the ball from falling!
What do you think, Jim?
That's kinda, that'll work, right?
We wanna save...
It's a problem, right?
The juggler doesn't, but it's okay if it falls, right?
But how could we save, how could we- - Right, that happens sometimes, so, yeah, I say it's okay, the ball fell, so, oh, no- - Oh, no.
- [Jim] One of the balls fell.
- Did it fall or was it about to fall?
Could go with it either way.
- I think it fell.
- It did fall?
- I think it did- - Oh, no!
- [Jim] He's got that nice pattern going there.
- Just, okay.
- [Jim] So, it just came outta the pattern and went, uh-oh- - Oh, there it goes!
Oh, no- - Yep.
- This is a bigger problem than I first thought!
Oh no, wait a minute, Armadillo's already working on a solution here, (guitar strumming music continues) but there's another word coming from our friends watching the show with us!
Oh, look at the armadillo, oh, cat, yes!
Maybe an armadillo and a cat team up.
Okay, let me think.
I'm thinking, okay, here we go.
This morning my friend Armadillo and I went out to take a walk.
As we were halfway out on our adventure, we passed a juggler who dropped one of the balls!
Armadillo quickly called Cat and said, "Quick, let's", what do we do, Jim?
Are they, they're just gonna juggle, like a team?
Team juggling?
- Yeah, I think they just throw it right back into all the other balls- - Okay.
- [Jim] That he's juggling there- - Okay, phew.
- [Jim] And it's back on track again.
- Phew, phew, phew, there it goes, whoosh.
It worked, look at that!
Oh, oh-oh!
♪ Woo, dah-dah, dah-dah We did it, Jim.
(children cheering) Yeah, and friends at home.
I wonder now maybe, maybe later the cat and the armadillo and me and the juggler, maybe we go on the road and we, what could the name of our juggling act be?
- [Jim] Ooh, I like that, the juggler can teach you guys- - Yes!
- All how to juggle, that'll be fun.
- Yes!
What if we, what else could we juggle?
Pancakes?
Ah, (guitar music continues) could that work?
- [Jim] Sure, apples, bananas- - Apples, ah?
- [Jim] All kinds of breakfast foods- - That's right, all the toppings from our breakfast on top of pancakes.

I've gotta come up with a name for us, I guess, too, but we'll get back to that later.

But then how does it get to the store?
But wait, who made it when it came from the farm to get to the store, to go to the restaurant, to go to the... how do all these things come together?
Where does it all begin?
What do you think is the start of everything that becomes what's then known as PB & J?
This book will share all kinds of behind the scenes information of how PB & J becomes PB & J.
