(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) (appleflyuses buzzing softly) Dusk in Vegesaur Valley.
- [Ginger] Don't take your eyes off it!
- [Narrator] And Ginger and the young pea-rexes have just one thing on their minds.
Where an appleflyus goes, a honeysuckle grows.
- Whoa.
Huh?
Hmm.
Where'd it go?
(baby pea-rex babbling) - Oh.
- (groans and gasps) There's another one!
Wow.
There's so many!
- [Narrator] As night falls, countless creatures migrate from one end of Vegesaur Valley to the other for one purpose.
To pollinates the honeysuckle!
(Ginger slurps) - Take us to the good stuff!
(gasps) It's very, very dark in there.
Okay.
Team meeting!
Who's up for going into the spooky, scary jungle?
- Eh, - Uh... - Good news!
They'll lead us to the good stuff!
So much of the good stuff.
(baby pea-rexes giggle) But it's getting dark, and we could get lost.
- Oh.
- Hmm.
- Hmm.
Huh?
Ah-ha!
But we won't get lost if we leave a trail we can follow back out!
- Yay!
- Woo-hoo!
- And what better to leave as a trail than trail mix!
Load up!
Ready, trailblazers?
- Yeah!
- Let's go.
- [Narrator] Into the forest they go, laying down a trail of seeds and berries to help them find their way back home.
(soft mystical music) (baby pea-rex giggles) (appleflyuses fluttering) - Whoa!
Team, prepare to good-stuff yourselves silly!
But let's not go overboard.
(pea-rexes chuckling) - Yay!
Woo-hoo!
- Mm.
(softly slurping) Mm-hm!
(pea-rexes groaning) Uh, I think we may have gone overboard.
Time to go home.
(pea-rexes groaning) Uh, where's the trail of trail mix?
(pea-rex swallows and grunts) You ate every last piece?
(pea-rex grunting) Not helping!
- Meh!
(chewing) - It's okay.
If we listen carefully, we can head towards the sound of the river.
- Tricarrotops ears are 100 times more powerful than the modern owls'.
- Huh?
(muffled grumbling) (Ginger gasps) (Wasabi laughs) Wasabi, is that your stomach?
(Wasabi laughs softly) - [Narrator] As long as they're close to the appleflyus' glow, Ginger and the pea-rexes will be safe.
(appleflyuses chirping) (xylophone plays declining scale) - [Narrator] Oh dear.
Light's up.
(Ginger and pea-rexes whimpering and yelping) - Wah!
Sorry.
Ah!
Sorry.
(gasps) That's it!
Wake them all up!
Wakey-wakey!
Woo!
(pea-rexes babbling happily) - [Narrator] Now they're awake.
The appleflyuses go back the way they came to do it all again tomorrow.
- Follow the emergency lighting!
(appleflyuses buzzing and fluttering rapidly) - Woohoo!
Hang on.
Where's, - Whoa!
- Woo-hoo!
(appleflyuses laughing) - Don't take your eyes off 'em!
(pea-rexes laughing) (Ginger laughs) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] This is a Sweet Potatodon, the friendlier cousin of the Salty Potatodon.
They're always happy to show visitors around the wondrous lava planes, even offering themselves up as a means of transportation.
- Next stop, the blowholes!
(Potatodon laughing) - [Narrator] Their sweet nature makes them very different from the hotheaded potatodon, (Potatodon growling) but in times of need, both species, one sweet, the other salty, band together and work in perfect harmony.
(creatures laughing) - [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) (Ginger panting) (tense music) Tricarrotops are not natural climbers unlike Pea-Rexes.
(Pea-Rexes panting) - Hey!
(Pea-Rexes giggling) (Ginger panting) Great effort, gang.
You too, Wasabi.
(Wasabi panting) Wasabi, why are you tired?
I carried you the whole way.
- Ah!
(Pea-Rexes giggling) (Pea-Rexes sighing) - [Pea-Rexes] Whoa!
- Yup.
One of my all-time top views.
Check this out.
(roars) (roar echoes) - [Narrator] Vegesaur Valley is surrounded entirely by steep cliffs, making it the perfect echo chamber.
- [Pea-Rexes] Whoa!
(all roaring) (Ginger giggles) (Pea-Rex roars) (all continue roaring) (roars echoing) (Broccoliosaurus roars in distance) - Huh?
- Hang on.
That wasn't one of ours.
- [Narrator] The Broccoliosaurus are intrigued, and roar back.
(Pea-Rexes chattering) (all roaring) Pea-Rexes are excellent mimics due to their large mouth to body ratio.
They're all throat.
- Wow!
That was spot on!
How'd you do that?
(Pea-Rexes roaring) (Coconutdons roaring) - [Narrator] Coconutdons have one of the biggest roars.
(Cucumberdiles roaring) - Wow.
I think we've just started a roar off!
(Bokchoydactyls chirping) (Bokchoydactyl trills) Even the sleepiest of Vegesaurs can be encouraged to join a roar off.
(Strawberrisaurus huffing) (water splashing) (Pea-Rexes giggling) (Potatodon bellowing) (Appleflyus squealing and buzzing) - Ba-na-na-na.
- Ba-na-na-na.
- Ba-na-na-na.
- [Together] Ba-na-na-na.
(both groaning) (Bokchoydactyls chirping) (Strawberrisaurus humming) (water splashing) (Vegesaurs roaring, gurgling and chirping) (Pineapplsaurus bellows) - [Narrator] When Vegesaurs roar together it creates very powerful sound waves.
- Oh, no.
Run!
(Ginger groans) (rocks cracking) (all screaming) (panting) Everyone okay?
- Yeah.
- Uh-huh.
- Whoa.
It's too far down to jump.
We're gonna have to go up.
(all gasping and sighing) (Pea-Rexes grunting) (Ginger groans and gasps) Oh.
You keep going, I'll be fine.
(rocks clattering) (Ginger gasps) - Uh, no, no, no, no.
- Uh-uh.
- [Narrator] Pea-Rexes are incredibly loyal and would never leave a friend behind.
(Ginger gasps) (Wasabi roars) (Coconutdons roaring) (footsteps thumping) Coconutdons long legs give them access to the highest of treetop meals.
(all cheering and laughing) But on this occasion it's rescuing friends in trouble.
(all panting and laughing) (rocks clattering) (triumphant music) (Coconutdon sighs) (Pea-Rexes humming happily) - Ooh.
Thank you.
We owe you big time.
(Coconutdon chuckles) Come on you three, give us your best roar.
(Pea-Rexes roaring) (Vegesaurs roaring) Uh-oh, here we go again.
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together.
(Ginger laughs) (bright music) (creatures chatter indistinctly) Hiya.
(Ginger giggles) ♪ Five Avocadodons running straight ahead ♪ ♪One went fast and banged his head ♪ ♪ Ginger heard a thump and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Wow little one you've got a tough head ♪ Huh?
(creatures chatter indistinctly) ♪ Four Bokchoydactyl's flying in the sky ♪ ♪ One got lost and started to cry ♪ ♪ Ginger heard it sob and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ There's no need for tears we'll find your bed ♪ Huh?
(creatures chatter indistinctly) (creature gasps) - Yeah.
(creatures chuckle) ♪ Three Coconutdons racing in the grass ♪ ♪ One fell behind and came lucky last ♪ ♪ Ginger heard it whine and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Don't be sad you can race me instead ♪ Huh?
♪Two Broccolisaurs grazing on the trees ♪ ♪ One stretched it's neck but it couldn't reach ♪ ♪ Ginger shook the tree and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ We'll knock down the blooms so you get fed ♪ Huh?
♪ One Kiwimammuthus sleeping in the snow ♪ ♪ A noise woke it up and it started to moan ♪ ♪ Ginger heard the moan and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Hush my friend lay down your sleepy head ♪ Huh?
(creatures laugh) Huh?
(creatures laugh) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music)
