Are you ready to dance?

Because we got this group, and I love their name, Spanglish Fly.

They've been instrumental in reviving, among other things, the Boogaloo.

Anybody ever heard of the Boogaloo from the 60s?

If you're my age, I used to listen on WCHB with Bang Bang and I like it like that.

Well, this group has brought that idiom.

They play Salsa, they play Latin Jazz and everything, but they're known for their take on Latin Boogaloo, which is really a blend of African American and Latin music.

Following in the early 1900s, you had that same collaboration between Caribbean and Latins and African Americans with, maybe the Harlem Hell Fighters band that had people directly from Puerto Rico join them to bring jazz to Europe.

But in the 60s when I was in my high school classes, I would break out and listen to CAHB and listen to Bang Bang, "I Like it Like That."

And that music really created a storm.

So they're gonna create a storm.

You better party, you better dance.
